  3.                NON-NEGOTIABLE PROMISSORY NOTE 
  4.  
  5. PETE'S PRODUCE, referred to as the MAKER, promises to pay to the
  6. order of Patricia Pink, referred to as the HOLDER, the sum of $
  7. 500 ( five hundred & no/100 dollars), with interest at the rate of
  8. 7 percent per year. Provided, that the maximum rate of interest on
  9. this debt shall not exceed any applicable usury limits. In the
  10. event that the rate of interest exceeds the usury limits of the
  11. appropriate jurisdiction, the rate shall be reduced to the maximum
  12. lawful rate. 
  13. This note shall be collectible solely from the profits of PETE'S
  14. PRODUCE, determined under generally accepted accounting principles
  15. for the maker under its present system of accounting. The first
  16. profits received after the making of this note shall applied first
  17. to the outstanding interest and second to the outstanding
  18. principal. Any and all subsequent profits shall be paid and
  19. applied in the same manner as described, until the full amount of
  20. principal and interest are repaid.

  22. In the event of default MAKER shall pay all costs of collection of
  23. the HOLDER, including attorneys fees.
